Worship Open Mic Night

April 3rd @ 6:00 PM.

This month’s open mic falls on Good Friday, so we invite you to join us for an evening of worship, community, and creativity at our family-friendly Worship Open Mic Night, hosted at the historic Mountain City Playhouse. This welcoming stage is open to everyone—from first-time participants and local musicians to seasoned singers and worship leaders who feel called to share their gifts. While focusing on Gospel music, all music is welcome.

Bring the kids, invite your friends, and experience a spirit-filled, uplifting atmosphere where faith is expressed freely and every voice is valued. Admission is by donation, and all proceeds go directly to support local nonprofit performing arts and enrichment programs, including Mountain Learning Enrichment, Inc.

Presented by the Mountain City Playhouse, this special night of praise and worship is an opportunity to encourage and uplift one another through music, testimony, and praise—while also supporting programs that help inspire and train the next generation of musicians and performing artists.

Concessions will be available for purchase, and childcare is offered next door at the BRAT Center during open gym hours for $12/child. Children are welcome to stay and enjoy the worship time or stay active in the gym.

Whether you feel led to perform, support a friend or family member, or simply come and be encouraged and blessed, this is a night to connect, worship, and celebrate together—lifting hearts and voices in praise.

Join us for Friday Night Open Gym at the BRAT Center and give your kids some much-needed time out of the house after being cooped up inside most of the week!

👶 Ages 3 & up (must be potty trained)

Join us at the BRAT Center for Spring Break Camp, a fun and engaging day program where children can play, create, and connect in a safe and supportive environment!

Campers will enjoy a variety of age-appropriate activities including games, gymnastics, creative projects, and group activities designed to encourage creativity, teamwork, and positive character development—all while having an exciting day with friends.

🧒 Attendance by Age:

• Children ages 5 & up may attend all day

• Children ages 3–4 may attend for a maximum of 4 hours

💲 Cost: $8 per hour

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Sibling Discount: Available

🍎 Lunch Reminder:

If you are sending a lunch with your child, please be sure it is already prepared. We are happy to heat lunches, but we are unable to prepare them.

Just a quick heads up for our BRAT families!

There will be no regular classes next week due to Rabun County School System’s Spring Break and our Spring Break Camp happening at the gym. 🎉

But don’t worry — you have several options to make up your class!

✔ Attend another time your class is scheduled during the week

✔ Come to an hour of Open Gym as a make-up

✔ Attend Spring Break Camp – and one hour of camp can count as your make-up class

Spring Break Camp is going to be a week full of games, gymnastics, activities, and tons of fun, so it’s a great option if you’re looking for something for the kids to do while school is out! 🤸

Our Open Play / Drop & Play sessions give kids the chance to run, jump, climb, and explore the gym in a fun, active, and safe environment while parents choose the option that works best for them.

🤸 Open Play: Parents or guardians stay and supervise while their children enjoy free play on gymnastics equipment, obstacle courses, and other active play areas. It’s a great way for kids to burn off energy 🔥, build confidence 💪, and make new friends 👧👦.

🎉 Drop & Play: Need to run errands 🛍️, grab coffee ☕, or take a quick break? Parents can drop their children off for supervised play while they enjoy a little time to themselves.

💲 Pricing:

• 🤸 Open Play: $7 per hour, per child (parent/guardian stays)

• 🎉 Drop & Play: $10 per hour, per child (drop-off supervised play)
