Mountain Ministry

Visual and Performing Arts Ministry for Christ

Mountain Ministry is a visual and performing arts-based ministry for Christ. This ministry program helps provide music and movement-based activities such as dance, theater, plays, productions, and other performing arts opportunities for children and adults in a Christian environment. Mountain Ministry also supports activities and faith-based learning opportunities for children participating in Mountain Learn & Play and Rabun Kids Club, while also emphasizing community outreach and positive relationships with other faith-based ministries and secular programs that benefit children and families.

Ignite Faith is the Youth and Young Adult Fellowship Program within Mountain Ministry and serves as a unifying opportunity for Rabun and surrounding area youth ministry programs. Through events centered on sharing God-given talents, testimonies, and movement-based activities, Ignite Faith creates fellowship opportunities for children and young adults involved in visual and performing arts. Programs may include musical concerts, Christian drama opportunities, music lessons, vocal and singing programs, dance classes, conferences, prophetic and worship dance, shape-note singing, historical clogging and buck dancing, art exploration, and other creative activities that help spread the love of Jesus Christ.

Little Lights Children’s Ministry provides ministry opportunities and Bible lessons to Rabun Kids Club while also partnering with the BRAT Center Summer Camp Program, Ignite Faith, and outside community programs.
